WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE LAND OF 10,000 LAKES

Here you'll find a strong, diverse economy; good career opportunites; excellent schools and health care; and a cosmopolitan area, entertainment, and sports scene at its best.  Add to that clean air, healthy lifestyles, and friendly people (yes, Minnesota nice lives on!).  Even though it may be cold during the winter months, that doesn't stop people from enjoying all that Minnesota has to offer.

THE METRO AREA

The Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul are considered the cultural center of the upper Midwest, featuring great skylines, historic architecture, parks, lakes, theatres, museums, and shopping.  In fact, the largest shopping and entertainment compless in the US is right here, The Mall of America.  The Twin cities are also home to all major professional sports teams.
